Sendmail cannot be responsible for any failure of its software to handle dates because of the failure of software, hardware or equipment of other vendors to correctly create or process dates.

Year 2000 Compliance Definition

Sendmail's statement that a product is "Year 2000 Compliant" means that Sendmail believes the product, when used in accordance with its documentation, is capable of correctly processing dates on or after January 1, 2000 with the same functionality and performance as pre-year 2000 date data, provided that accurate and compatible date data is received from third-party software and hardware systems.
